Welcome Back WP Family

Dear Williamsburg Prep Families, Students, and Teachers,

Welcome back to the 2025-2026 school year! I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable summer. As we begin this new year together, I am filled with excitement and optimism for all that we will accomplish as a school community.

This year, we are focusing on three major priorities to ensure the success of every student:

1. Building Strong Student Habits:

We are committed to helping our students develop the organizational skills and habits they need to thrive—both this year and beyond high school. Through targeted support and clear expectations, we will work together to prepare students for college, careers, and life.

2. A Laser Focus on Literacy:

Literacy is the foundation of academic success. Our goal is for every student to read at or above grade level and to be fully prepared for Regents exams, AP tests, SATs, ACTs, and any post-secondary path they choose. To achieve this, we have implemented additional literacy supports, extra tutoring, and mandatory reading across all core subjects. Please note that nightly homework will be required to reinforce these skills.

3. Strengthening Relationships with Families:

We believe that strong relationships between school and home are essential. In the coming weeks, your child’s advisor will reach out to introduce themselves and provide their contact information. This advisor will be your main point of contact and a resource for any questions or concerns throughout the year. To ensure effective communication, please make sure we have your most up-to-date email address and phone number. We also ask that you log in to our grading platform, Jupiter Ed, so we can keep you informed digitally. In addition to these initiatives, I want to assure you that the safety and well-being of our students remains my top priority. If you ever have concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly.
