Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! For over 20 years, I have had the privilege of walking the halls of Williamsburg Preparatory School. For the past five years, I have been honored to serve as your principal. Having spent two decades in this incredible building, I know firsthand the dedication, talent, and passion that define our community. 

Our track record speaks for itself. Thanks to the hard work of our students and staff, Williamsburg Prep has maintained a steady graduation rate of over 95% for the past eight years. We are incredibly proud of this legacy of excellence, but we are never content to simply stand still. 

Our Core Values: Building the Best Version of Ourselves 

At Williamsburg Prep, we pride ourselves on ensuring that all our students live each day being the best person they can be. We instill our five core values into everything we do: 

• Relationships: This is the heart of everything we do at WP. I firmly believe that relationships render results, which is why our students excel.

An Exciting New Direction: Career Pathways 

This year, I am thrilled to lead our school into an exciting new chapter. We are launching specialized academic pathways designed to prepare our students for high-demand, rewarding careers. Starting this year, we will offer dedicated pathways in: 

• Business 

• The Arts 

• Nursing 

• Teaching 

We want every student to make an informed choice about their future. Because of this, all 9th-grade students will explore all four fields during their freshman year. This foundational exposure will help them choose the specific pathway they wish to pursue starting in the 10th grade. 

Support and Challenge for Every Learner 

We believe in meeting students exactly where they are. We recognize that every academic journey is unique: 

• Targeted Support: We offer a plethora of intervention classes. These programs provide robust support for students who enter below grade level, ensuring they catch up and thrive. 

• College Acceleration: 

College Acceleration Programs 

We offer over 15 Advanced Placement (AP) classes designed for students seeking an extra challenge. These courses allow students to experience rigorous, college-level work and earn college credits while still in high school. 

Dual Credit Partnerships 

Students can also earn both high school and college credits simultaneously through our dual credit courses. Through these pathways, students receive credits from prestigious institutions, including: 

• University of Pennsylvania 

• Cornell University 

• Brown University 

College Now Initiative 

Our partnership with New York City College of Technology allows students to attend College Now courses directly on campus on Saturdays. This unique opportunity lets students sit in real college classrooms, immerse themselves in the campus environment, and build early college credits 

The Full High School Package 

We believe high school should be a vibrant, well-rounded experience. WP students get the full package, gaining access to incredible opportunities outside the classroom, including: 

• Dynamic clubs and student organizations. 

• Inspirational college trips and career fairs. 

• Enriching museum visits and international trips. 

• Comprehensive tutoring and targeted prep for Regents exams, the SAT, and more.

Above all, I am a parent first and foremost. I treat every single student who walks through our doors as if they were my own child. My mission is to give them every possible opportunity to be successful, happy, and fully prepared for life after high school.
